Beads of Hope
figmental escapes
lifting through the fog
of clouded mind
my eyes closed
momentarily
see you in the shadows
hands reaching out
towards me
I linger in the
breaking dawn
of brighter days
to escape the fury
of the storm
bearing down
around us
temporary shelter
comes in your arms
allowing me to sigh
a breath of fresh air
my fears
fall in the shadows
against walls
then build
as sweat beads
on worried brows
while my fingers
stumble across beads
of this rosary
with lips pressed
against the cross
as i whisper prayers
for one and all
in hopes my voice is heard
and this fog lifts
with this storm
