Beads and Bugs

This plague is real-for sure
Where it came from
(CHINA)-is undeniable...
but was the little devil
birthed by a bigger devil.
Did it slip away from a Wuhan lab
or explode from a wet market bat...

Truth is a rose; evil is a stink bug.
Something sure stinks, and we know it,

The truth is that trillions are being made off global misery.
The stink is that there's no great hurry to end this Wuhan fling.

Freedoms are being gleaned one by one in the name of public safety.
This charade will conclude only when it's politically beneficial to do so.

The masses have been put into a trance.
While the tainted class still parties on, without masks
Jet-setting from here to there to faraway lands.

I guess for the working class every day is Mardi gras.
Without the beads and the teats.
