a white flashing strobe
incoming airplanes’ lighthouse
light across far ridge
rays of light in the darkness
appreciative pilot

Nope. I never had the urge to fly. My brother is twin-engine rated. I always wanted to drive a big semi-truck! Really, I did. Fascinated by them.
