Beach Park Tanka

Blue ocean vistas
Rainforest encroaches down
Tree roots over stone
Vines reach, wind, twine and climb
Clutching trees that cradle them

Burleigh Heads beach path
Pandanus groves, mangroves
Strange variety
Spiky bushes, towering trees
Tiny flowers underfoot

Raggy paperbarks,
Log bridge, white sand, shallow creek
Invisible birds give song
Each day travel the same path
Only to find it diff’rent.

Very creative! Enjoyed immensely. It's not the pivots that attracted my attention here...but the last lines in each of the stanzas. // paul
