Beach Fever Blues

sinking in the sand and losing it i am watching the whales and the dolphins play a crab of some sort checks me out in its own way a few sea gulls do the same i watch you and him having as much fun as you wanna i am remembering when he was me the waves crash continuously running poetic interference regrets sneak up on me like a bully with water balloons of bad intentions i sit and wonder when and where i went wrong how could you leave me for the man who broke your heart until it wilted and bewildered when he breaks your heart again, just tell him you love him again and swim straight for the sharks buried in the sand and conceding to another lost battle my broken heart is a damaged mirror undeservingly demoted to the seventh row
