Beach ball in the pool rafters,
tell me your story please.
Tell me, who was your owner
and whose breath filled your shape?
Whose hands you have entertained?
Beach ball in the pool rafters
tell me, your tail in full.
Have I met your owner,
in human body, or simply spirit?
Beach ball in the pool rafters
did you give a family a fun filled afternoon,
or was your existence wrapped in the kiss of lovers?
Tell me please, beach ball what's behind the energy,
that surges through me as I see you.
It is energy that memories are made from,
even if they are an-other's and not mine?
Beach ball in the pool rafters
tell so that I may know,
is your story one that can impact me?
I see you all the time.
You have been here for seven years,
and now, I want to know.
