Be Your Own Man

Don't call yourself a man You're scared, you're a coward You're too afraid to be yourself so you give other men your power You try to hide in the dark and transform in the light Cause you were made without heart and born without fight Who cares what others think? Only you know your soul Don't let your words and your moves be something that others control Don't follow man, follow God Make men follow your lead Plant your own seed and grow your own tree Men speak of their loyalty but they won't go to jail for you And if you're forbidden to go to Heaven, they won't go to hell for you But when they want something from you, that's when they'll be there for you But when you have nothing to give, they don't even care for you When will we all learn? When will we understand? If we don't wanna burn, we have to turn away from man The best thing for us to do is to put our life in God's hands When we live for the world, we only live in accord with Satan's plan We all die in the game when we play with the wrong hand You can be a righteous leader if you be your own man
