Be Your Own Life DJ
You built the skills, you have done the work,
Faced every challenge, adjusted to every quirk.
Now comes the fork in the road of life that is yours to face
Grab the microphone of life with a warm embrace
A DJ doesn’t follow sound,
They craft the moment, feel the ground.
They blend the old with the new, create the vibe
They sway the room, to the flow of their drive.
Your life’s a mix of beats and cues,
Of chances taken, paths you choose.
Trust your timing, drop the music and lyrics of life that is true to you
And remember No one spins the track like you.
So, when the world hands you the stage,
Step forward, center, turn the volume up and be brave
Be bold, be clear, and do not fear the adjustments and strife
Be your own DJ and control the turntables of your life.
