Be Together

Being together is not living glued ...       It is not to require constant presence,      It's not talking constantly ...       Being together when always        possible to be together ...        Have lunch, dinner and appreciate         the moments together ...        Lie in the same bed        even without making love        continually ... but it's having        affection in gestures and       words ... respect the        thinking of each other without        conflict ...       It's arguing without fighting,        debate without imposing ...       In everything supply love ...       Love to praise, to download       or lift the toilet lid ...!       Is to be doing on a daily basis        things whenever possible together ...        Accompany the doctor, providing assistance ...        Be patient when shopping, at the hairdresser,         on the football couch, in the armchair of serial ...        Search the cooking recipes ...        and cook together,         Laugh together whenever possible ...        cry together with sympathetic emotion ...         Respect feelings and ways,         but look for common achievements ...          Project the house, the couple, the future          the children ...          Be a husband and wife anywhere;          At home, on the street, in dreams ...           Being together is fighting, persisting,            Forgiving, Relieving, Supporting ...           And love, love, love ...            This is being together ...!

Jeff, this poem really is inspired by my first wife ...Everything I wrote here reflects the 4 years that my marriage lasted ...FOR LIFE I WOULD HAVE LIVED WITH HER ...Today I am married to another, I have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren, but it is not the same thing, it is another form of love ... I appreciate the coincidence and your attentive reading ....Salute alkas

Oh Alkas your words made the life of my first wife and I pass before my very eyes. Truly. I think you are writing about the person who IS your soulmate. My first wife was mine, and we even joked about death though knowing she was dying; so in some ways our laughter did turn to tears. But our years spent are exactly what you express in this poem. I read it over 3 times before I wrote this comment Alkas, and after each read I felt my first wife stronger. This poem is fantastically amazing Alkas
