Be There Always
You, held me close till
I could fly alone.
Spoke your word
which I have deep
in my heart.
You taught me how to calm the storm.
How to harness the winds over
the sea.
Told me the road ahead has
a bend.
All hurts and sorrows will mend
one day.
When I whispered your name Jesus
you answered me with a question what.
Why Dear Lord did, you have to die.
You told me so I could be alive and
ask why?
Nevertheless, more than that, you did it so
you could draw me close to you
till I could fly.
I will forever lift praises to you.
Forever more sing your glories
on wings, you gave me
from on high.
For you will always be there
right next to me.
I am never alone with you near.
