Be Thankful

BE THANKFUL

Some people see an elephant.
They wish it were a giraffe.
And when they see a camel,
they wish it were a calf;
and when they go to England,
they wish they were in France;
and when they're sitting down,
they wish that they could dance.
If a flower is still blooming
somewhere in January,
they think that that is valueless,
and so they do not tarry.
Be thankful for the things you have,
for what your life's creating;
and when you go into the street,
smile even if it's raining.
