Be Still

Be Still
                     By Kimberly Burns

Be still my child in the mist of the storm.
Have peace my child.
For you are in the safety of my arms.
Though the storms are raging and winds are fierce.
I will not allow your soul to be pierced.
Listen to my voice and be still my child.
The storm will only last for a little while.
Go to sleep my child and let me fight your battles.
Trust and have Faith in me and I shall remove your shackles.
Be still my child and don't you fret.
You worship a God that can give you rest.
So be humble my child and listen to my voice.
For when the storm is over in my name you will rejoice.
Embrace your storm because it is only a test my child.
Trust in my word and never be in denial.
Choose this day whom you will serve.
And I will give you all the peace in the world.
There is some pain in your heart that I desire to heal.
So my child trust in me and be still.
