Be Really Honest Never Be a Fraud - Matthew 15: 3

Jesus spoke as one with authority
clearly, as God's son, He knew what's right
traditions are all man-made no less
in them, nothing good, get them out of sight

So often hung up in our traditions
placing too much emphasis on man
thinking what's best by our standard
making it all up according to plan

Hypocrisy is really a great sin
for God abhors this terrible deceit
it fails to honour our great God
bringing on oneself a sure defeat

Here is a question from our Lord
asking why sin against His sovereign
by following tradition so very bland
for the Lord alone can truly govern

So often prayer seems just words
as well read God's word like any book
such attitudes displease our eternal God
be really honest never be a fraud!
