Born perhaps with a special gene configuration Every situation needlessly prompts my rash reaction. Poise, the stable state of the balanced mind Always takes an untimely flight evading me Triggered by the discord in my self-sustained psyche I react prematurely when I should be silent Engaged in invited rows I've learnt bitter lessons Now I realize and resolve, enough is enough Time for me to be patient.
