Be Of Good Cheer
Hey, everybody! How do you do?
Give me a minute. I'd like to talk to you.
Without a doubt, this year was rough:
The struggle is real and times are tough.
We've lost family and friends along the way;
We're stressed out and angry, but it'll be okay.
I'm not disregarding your feelings at all,
Even though our backs are against the wall.
I pray that everything will be better,
Which is the reason for writing this letter.
It's Christmas time again this year.
My wish for us all is: let's be of good cheer.
I understand that it's not as easy as it sounds,
But don't let your troubles keep you down.
In the midst of your pain, you're still blessed.
For God said, "Come unto me and I'll give you rest."
This is the season for happiness and joy,
Like an awesome gift for every girl and boy.
Turn your frown upside-down, and make your spirits bright:
Merry Christmas, y'all, and to all a good night.
