Be My Girl For a Day
Maybe we live worlds away
But you should be my girl for a day
We're both too hurt to start something real
But let's spend time together to heal
Let's forget the pain, let's go on an adventure
Let's create some good memories after our sad winters
The way you were treated, makes me sick to my stomach like I had a bad dinner
I'll keep you calm and relaxed, i know your ex had a Bad temper
But we're going to spend the day laughing while calm and relaxed
While our favourite songs play, because there's no harm in that
No tears will be shed today, only laughter is allowed
We'll go out and have fun like there's no public crowd
After all the ugliness, let's go and see how beautiful the city looks
I may not have the perfect words, but I hope they're pretty good
Think of this day, as the opposite of a one night stand
We're going to forget our pain with the right plans
Sex is good, but at times like this, a hug is better
We're going to learn to smile through any weather
We'll enjoy a great day together after our sad winters
Be my girl for a day and let's go for am adventure
