Be Loyal

Be loyal whether things are going your way or not.
Unite with your fellow dwellers
Speak your mind 
After you listen to their views
Take them seriously
You are in this together

Be loyal to your country, your family, and your friends
Do not allow anyone to put them down.
Stand up for what is right.
Show that you are listening,
And when you disapprove 
Explain why in a kind and loving way.

Be loyal to your soldiers. Defend them and their assignments.
They are not given choices. They are given orders.
They follow them in good faith.
To keep the country healthy.
To allow you to enjoy your life
While they are possibly sacrificing theirs
In your honor.

Be loyal to your country’s mandates, and beliefs.
If there is something that needs to be changed,
Advocate.
But in a heartfelt, cooperative, 
Wise and caring way.
Do not speak badly of your government or her policies.
Be loyal always.

I have a daughter who is a Vet, joined up during the Gulf War and wrote a three million dollar grant to help Puerto Rico which was fully funded. I want all of us to remember we are together in this.
