Be Lackadaisical As Often As You Can

be lackadaisical as often as you can
lie in the grass staring into the leaves
enjoying the float of the clouds

be imaginative
encourage your thoughts to wander
be fiercely protective of your me time

let yourself melt into the moment
listen to the sounds of the day
let your body rest any way it wants to

be lazily relaxed
be uncommonly silent
be aware of what your soul needs

these moments cannot be replaced
and they can replenish you
energizing your bliss.
Be lackadaisical as often as you can

Been there, and done that Caren, great poetry, especially for this day and age...

Thank you Harry; it came to me haphazardly and in a restful way.

I just love being lackadaisical but I have to look up the spelling every time. Glad you know it now Cecilia, so you can finally be it.

I daydreamed so much of my school-childhood away it is barely a dream now.
