BE AWARE a kuhlmann ekphrasis
From night, fog and frost,
come day,show warmth and heat.
From love's sheen ,glows faith in God.
seek goals,praise and kiss with
thanks to say.
From ache,pain and stress,so with
care,the deep avoid,lest pluck and
wit,peace and praise be destroyed.
Where fear!,hate lies and strife and
pain will.rule the day.
An ekphrasis inspired by Qurinus Kuhlmann 'Love-kiss XLI (1671)
