Be As Children

be as children

smile
light your face
with Christmas
be a child again
if just for this season.

kiss the morning star
and wish it well
turn your reddened cheeks
into winters folly
throw a snowball, build a fort.

drink hot chocolate
laced with marshmallows
feel it warm all the way down
close your eyes and remember
snow angels on the lawn.

Hi sweet sister how are you? I get goofy this time of year. I love being goofy. Thanks. PS never, never, eat yellow snow that's not goofy just sick.
