Be a Witness and Speak If Required
Jesus calls His followers on His way
to be His witnesses wherever they go
being filled with His blessed holy spirit
spreading His word to friend and foe
reveal the Christ living within your heart
portraying His godly character so bright
filled with purity, holiness and all that's godly
such blessed redemption makes all just right
The gospel message is so glorious
a real privilege to spread it around
a message of divine love melts one so
listening to the sweet gospel sound
Verbal witness can be really useful
it's echo rings out into all the air
but Christ living within is the real witness
God at work answering many a prayer
