Battle of Life

Lord, I don’t know how to say The words that will explain What it is I hold inside… This battle I must fight. The desperation, the fear and strife All the reasons that this lonely life Has become a place I can’t reconcile With joy and hope and light…. Lord, I don’t know how to show you In my soul, deep down inside me There is a truth, so amazed by you The Savior of my soul, the peace that I know Will forever flow… Lord, I don’t know how to live Without your love, my heart wouldn’t give without Your love, my soul wouldn’t survive without Your love, I’d refuse to even try! Lord, I don’t know how to say The way you’ve taught me, The ways I’ve prayed – Because, without You, The sun wouldn’t shine I would lose my mind, I’d forget the love inside My heart would never find The way to peace in life Lord, I don’t know how to tell You But without You beside me, Always there to guide me, I’d be without a hope, without a prayer Without one reason to sincerely care! Thank You, Lord – for always being there!
