Batman

As a clandestine crime fighter, he is everywhere.
In everyday life, he is a well-known millionaire.
His alter ego is kept in utmost secrecy.
Only his butler Alfred knows his identity.
He guards the citizens of his home, Gotham City
from the ubiquitous criminal activity,
perpetrated by diabolical villainy.

Some years before, Bruce Wayne became orphaned in childhood.
His parents were murdered by outlaws that were no good.
From then, he decided to spend his life fighting crime.
He assumes his Batman character during the time
whenever there’s rampant criminal activity.
This fighter employs sophisticated weaponry.
Whenever the police have more than they can control,
this surreptitious dark knight goes out on his patrol.
Dressed in black with a cape and a hood hiding his face,
he fights the most powerful criminals in their place.
Batman strikes fear into the crooks within the city.
He fights a perpetual battle for decency.

I like a poem on a fun subject. Thanks for sharing. When I was a kid, Batman was my favorite Superhero, mainly because he was the only one of that group that just possibly could be true. Robin seems to have disappeared, but back then I related to him since he was closer to my age. Elton
