Basket Case - A person that is not functioning well

what’s in the basket case, let’s see a jumble of clay, i can’t pass embittered pretense of forgive a vomitus litter of crass why does this gift keep on giving over and over it tumbles with no argument i let go but dredged up in talks i fumble this basket case with a heavy lift it’s mind control unforgiving my one hundred pound head of lead the relentless tales reliving SINK the wicker into the sea TEAR apart its strands of pale reeds POUND it with a tenderizer until its remains are sound seeds 5/22/2019

I'm intrigued by the entire poem. It's such an amazingly creative approach to the subject of 'loose screws' / 'screws loose'... Especially fascinating to me are the three words in caps. I'm trying to decode STP, the first letters of those words, but my brain keeps reverting to a car-oil treatment (STP!) way back in the day! Help! Smiles, gw

Oh if we could but do that to the basket cases! I enjoyed your metaphorical poem, KIm. My husband is a bit of a basket case. It's all in the astrology. I am a very steady Virgo, so thankfully I only have to put UP with basket cases!
