My maternal grandfather died when I was just seven! Most certainly he is honored with special joy in heaven. He left his art work at the Basilica of Notre Dame in Indiana Those artistic, lighted fixtures you see hanging down Are his creations,he must ride on his own heavenly cloud! It makes me wonder....what will I leave behind of beauty? That inspires human souls, to look up to God and in gratitude, On this earth, perform His work witn joyous duty! He created Art Deco Doors at the Chicago Tribune Towers, Peoplle walked through those doors and worked for hours, Upon hours. Tribute to my Grandfather, Stanley of blessed memory. Love, Panagiota 10/13/2020 Opus #3

Quite acccomplished!I had told you about the gargoyles atop the tribune tower in Chicago. The art deco elevator doors in the Chicago sun times Building, Grandpa designed those, I can’t compare to what he ever did. What with my dorky poems. It’s embarrassing, Huggs,Pangie xo

Dear Eve I missed your second comment, very sorry, do forgive my errant behavioir. I wasn't being bragidocious about him. I see so many read and avoided a response. I set myself up to expect one from people I thought were my friends. It's my fault. ))) having no expectations is best! Or blocking all comnents. I have a poem about myself and Donnie. Tom Cunningham surprised me and added the photo. Same story there no comments. I know if I saw a picture of any Poet here at that tender age, I'd say something.))) Same disappointment. Those who I thought were my friends are in Absentia. Tom thought it was a cute idea. Apparently OT turned people off. They are more interested in leaves, bugs, who knows what? I am into realism. I feel I SHOULD leave here permanently. Many would cheer. Love Panagiota xxx

One of my love is the arts and if someone as much talent as your grandfather should be known. Thank you for sharing a talented grandfather.

EVE, Did you notice, you are the only woman who commented? I did! And am blessed by you doing that! Thank you. I see those lamps and wonder if I will leave such an inspiring legacy? I do hope in a small way this will happen. Love, Pangie xxx

Its been there for over 100 years. He worked so hard, handsome, and even tempered. With 7 kids. Boys and girls. You can see what I wrote to Word Hobo below.)) All kids had religious schooling. His one son lost an eye, but became a successful engineer. I miss all of them, we were close! Pangiexx Pangie xx
