The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Barrel of Laughter

Earth is hanging by a thread
menaced by nature and by man
but we poets with the harp
enchant forest seas and hearts
cobras stand and rhythmically dance
lions skip around with lambs
stars from sky come down to light
millions of twinkling lamps
even waters perform erect
bouncing twirling in the air
birds whistling join the fun
flowers dance upside down
then serve nectar in their gowns
break of dawn the music ends
life continues without events
but for promises to return
at mellifluous sound of harp
for a barrel of fireworks rhymes
brilliant thoughts and applause sound
to the Muse laurel crowned.

So much power in the written words--so many enchanted by the poets--lovely imagination!
