Barely Living

Believing in you, I
Aimlessly fell
Ridiculously in love, my
Eager thoughts chase after you, you
Left me alone in my sorrow while I clung to
Your memories good and bad

Losing you, my love
Is like a million deaths of those crying, my
Voice of reason escapes flowing forever
Into a sea of tears where there is
No more sunshine of words for me to
Glean the passion we once shared

The last two lines of this write are very powerful and "wrap up" the whole poem back up to the title. This is awesome, Barbara and a very well-deserved selection to be a feature this week at the Soup! Congratulations!

congradulations are well deserved in the beautifull piece of art. the images are original even though there seem to be so few left, you conjured them from somewhere. great work. John H. Loving III
