Barefoot and Bloodied

Barefoot and bloodied
I run towards the blinding light
On paths of broken glass
Shattered memories
That I can never seem to forget-
Barefoot and bloodied.

Sorry about the shattered memories..We all have that some in our lives..Thanks for stopping by and reading and commenting on my work..One thing that I have found about soup is that sometimes it is like mental telepathy with other writers and we do not even know each other personally..I have posted a write and another person post one at about the same time and the related topics can give one an eery feeling...This is ones that are not for a contest...Sara

Hi Samir--although short, this sure is very gripping--I really like how it is so visual & your metaphor for shattered memories translating to broken glass was really something...enjoyed this--nikko :)

Excellent, you couldn't have said it better, "Shattered memories", very, very well written.
