Barefoot

BAREFOOT Literally : shoeless We think of a thief Caught flat-footed on the act. Like Colton Harris-Moore Who was known as a “Barefoot Bandit” Barefoot has other interpretations It can mean young Having an inexperienced, unadulterated , pristine mind Possessing triple ‘V’ vision, vim and vigor. But at times A child/man of poor social standing May walk barefooted Increasing deadly risks of infection. To me: Barefootin’ as well as cavorting in the sand Hand in hand with a love one My pet, Bugsy, running, following behind Are tender memories tattoed in my heart and mind. Dalila Agtani 6/6/2011

Yes, the simple things in life also ground us, beautiful thoughts you have here, Dalila and thank you so much for passing by my writes-- and heehee so nice of you to picture me in that setting, but nope-- that painting by Amorsolo is actually displayed at the GSIS Museum, in fact I saw it just yesterday-- and I was so happy to view it-- tiramisu is a cold Italian dessert made with lady fingers dipped in coffee with a cream cheese layer-- mmm :) enjoy your day :)
