Such scenes always made me pity the poor birds unable to see any place where they could warm their feet . . . . .it take a long time for a cup of cocoa to warm cold feet! Aloha!

Me, too, Rico. I often wonder where the delicate creatures seek shelter. Thanks for your comments.

A haiku Jenna yet I can feel a senryu embedded, human emotion runs through the very fabric of this bleak picture, extraordinary writing, cheers David

Beginning to experience this very thing here, Jenna, although we haven't had a good first snow yet. The limbs and branches are bare, however. I think they are anticipating!

The sun hasn't been out here all day, but I'm not expecting snow. Thanks for the comments, Milt.

That painting begs for a cup of hot chocolate in the house at the end of the lane. Thanks, Tom.
