Barack

Barack-2007

I have very few friends since I stood up for you,
because I believe in the things that you do!
I feel the justice you're determined to bring
And you never exclude, not one living thing!

When I walk through my halls and glance at the walls,
Your photo assures me you're there,
As you look down and smile like a frolicsome child
I know that you really do care!

You're my feeling of happiness that comes from within
The first time I heard you ...I knew you were friend
You are the very best President America has had
And far more important, you're such a great dad! .

May God keep you safe tucked under his wing
and continue to guide you to do the right thing
Just know that I "feel" your struggles each day
And if you need help..... I'll be right on my way!

... oh I hope it be so for the rest of our citizenry to have the same viewpoint. I totally agree. Jack C

Judy, thanks for posting this one. You are a very brave soul. I posted a few for him and I am sure some people here were not too happy about it! For me, nobody will ever come close to being like Abe Lincoln was, but I too feel that Obama cares about us and it makes me sad that many people are saying such awful things. I am thankful that my husband now has health insurance. Something we could not have until now.

Great about your husbands health insurance my grandson also got it. Meanwhile do not chalk my poem up to braveness...I used to be Public Relations coordinator for a guy named Jimmy Carter. Just watch out for the "harmless names" such as "Americans for Prosperity" whose motto is: "We'll make him a one term president"....Take care...

Just in time for his annual State of the Union speech. Impressive write, Judy.

Wow, this is such a sweet write for the President, I really enjoyed reading this enlightening poem this evening! I am all for the President too, he gets a bad rap! Because through many things his hands are usually tied, he can't do what he wants because of the Congress, whom are not bi-partisan at all...sometimes I wonder if they just go against the other party just to be doing it! What an awesome piece Judy! Great Work!!
