Ban On Winter
If I were in office
On the very first day
I'd pass legislation
To keep winter away
Snowflakes could not fall
Except Christmas Day
By the first of the year
They must scurry away
Cold winds would be fined
For blowing through trees
And icicles jailed
For hanging to eaves
Sleet would be summoned
For causing a wreck
And ice pellets forbidden
To fall on one's neck
Large golf ball hail
Must stay in the cloud
As pelting the pavement
Will not be allowed
Freezing cold temperatures
Be given a warning
To pack up their bags
And be gone by the morning
The winter police
Will be out every day
To make sure the
Summer is going to stay
