Ballet

Whispers of cloth,
flowing like water
graceful.
Movement,
contained,
and exaggerated.
A step here,
stretch there,
pause.
Pose,
all eyes on you,
spins, turns,
a dizzying array
lights and colors
are one.
Guiding,
music takes a hold
taking over,
nothing else matters.
