When Kennedy lit Nikita's cigar
no one said
Nikita, smoking is not a good thing for you
America could not accept a foreign power
so close to the American shore
and quite rightly so
Russia did the right thing and pulled out
Nikita noticed the young president's hands
trembled and smiled
yes, it had been a hard call
both men respected each other
Today in Ukraine, the situation is the same
but America's leaders show no concern
damaged is done to Russia
not understanding her new leader
will not back down
the reason is vanity and pride from
America's side
by calling out Putin's bluff
we will live to see
world war 3
