Bake a Cake Nursery Rhyme

It was my turn to bake a cake
I followed instructions without mistake
Two cups of flour were the base
Flowers in two cups I put in its place
Next I added sugar and mixed it in for taste
Three eggs broken, I added one extra just in case
A blob of butter ran on the floor which I had to chase
I caught it half way, and added it into the paste!
With all the mixing I had most of the batter on my face
Some landed inside my mouth, Yucky it was to taste
I ran to the bin and spat it out in haste!
