baigne de soleil - bathed in sun

(a poem in several Haiku and Senryu stanzas)

The molten gold sun
on cerulean canvas
breeze borne cirrus clouds

flawless days stretching
like sun-kissed bodies - crisp white
linen cabanas

lips roughly sore from
innumerable kisses
we shimmer white hot.

Lulling rhythmic waves -
heavens extravagant taste
- on leisure sculpt days

masterpiece pleasures,
love’s instigative brushstrokes,
paint compelling joy

Dear Anais, what a breathtaking ode to the beauty of nature and love. I love how each stanza evokes emotions creating serene days under the golden sun. The Haiku and Senryu form adds a delicate rhythm to your words, enhancing the sensory experience for me the reader. This is an exquisite piece that captures the essence of blissful moments in the sun. - Blessings, my friend, Daniel

In my heart, I’d like spend every day at the beach - I don’t swim that much but I love the ocean. Maybe I should join the merchant marines - is that still a thing? I’d need an ocean of sunscreen too. Thanks for your wonderful comment Daniel - as always.
