Listen to poem:

Bad News

It's said it's never good to hear bad news on
an empty stomach_
such as the rolling clouds and clashing thunder.
Well as it stands, my stomach's full today; _
doesn't feel any better_
such as the rolling clouds and clashing thunder.

Should I have been standing up or sitting down_
such as the harsh winds blows up from
down under.
Maybe I could have laid me low in a ball on the
ground_
such as the harsh winds blows up from
down under.

I could have stretched me out with arms
spread yonder_
such as the last breath taken before my soul
fled asunder.
What could I have done better my mind
keeps a wonder_
such as the last breath taken before my soul
fled asunder.

Life has a way of knocking sense into while knocking the wind out of you. Thank you for sharing this moment with me.

Is there ever "The Right Time" for "Bad News". no one knows how one would take it. The time has been already decided; and the time is whenever life makes it. It was a moment in time that didn't last very long. I was raised up shortly thereafter. I appreciate the times we share... the happy and the sad.
