Bad Girl

I was always the good kid I didn't do anything wrong Until that summer day My bad girl came a long Drinking her parents booze Skinny dipping in their pool Listening to Rock music For the first time I felt cool Exploring each others bodies With more than just eyes Moments felt like hours As passion was realized When the summer ended She went her own way I was left broken hearted I guess bad girls never stay Sometimes I do wonder Was I ever that guy That part of me I miss Although I wonder why Youthful indiscretion A walk on the wild side A cute girl in my arms A really crazy ride Greatly missed Contest (old Poems) Written in 2012

This girl had no limits, a pleasant reminder of the possibility of youth.

Interesting write, Richard. Loved your response to Rachel. It's good to have someone who knows when to be good and when to be bad. Keeps the spice in life.

I agree with Anne. Sounds like good times, nostalgic memories...the phrase 'the one who got away' springs to mind. Nice work Richard!

Thanks Vicky, I appreciate you stopping by and commenting. Pretty amazing when you think that people from two far away places can connect.
