Bad Face, Bad Hands

Why am I filled with remorse? I have the long face of a horse, and if you want to know the truth, the hands of John Wilkes Booth.

Oh!! What does that metaphor mean or is it an analytical phrase? I looked up the question in my mind and found that John Wilkes Booth had no use of his hands at the end because his spinal cord was injured from the gunshot that killed him. Okay, maybe I understand now. Very creative work. Sara K

It was mainly just silly, but I remember when JWB was shot and dying, he asked the soldiers to lift his hands in front of his face, and his last words were "useless, useless". I thought it was a comment about his life. I have a weird habit of writing whatever pops into my head. Also, the joke horse walks into a bar, bartender says "why the long face?"
