Bad Days

Bad Days.

I never thought of you,
But you manage to break in,
I never invited you,
But you struggled past the guards,
I never liked you,
But somehow you loved me.

Once you arrive,
U ever last,
While the good days
Never last,
But you arrive,
And teach me a lesson.

Which is always remembered,
Till eternal and after.

I like this conversation with bad days, Komal. I think of a bicycle ride: we struggle for a long time to ride up a hill, then enjoy the downhill coasting for a much shorter duration. Yet it is the uphill climb where we grow stronger. Thank you for these inspiring words. Keep writing! Your friend, John
