Bad Day.

Some one once told me"learn to pick your battles,"
I'm not one to let another get to me until one treats me like cattle,
A wise man once said "silence is an ornament as well as a safe guard from ignorance."
but keeping my mouth shut when another shoots his off is an invitation to dance,
I know,I know be the bigger person and walk away
hard to do we stupidity finds it's way
here I stand in a world of doubt,
never once cursing how I came about,
I understand live and let be
but when I'm living don't cross me,
just because I've been known to write a poem or two,
dose not mean step to me and act like a fool,
just because I smile and enjoy my time here,
do not man up to me thinking you can bring me to fear,
childish words, true I understand but today was like no other,
I wanted to crush some one I know is my brother,
a test...I'm not real sure,
I need to go to church find my cure,
to laugh and smile is all I ever want to do,
respect my brothers and sisters as we walk this world as we do,
give thanks to the lord up above spread the joy the word from me to you,
like I said it was just day and I just needed to vent,
my temper got the best of me I am a humble man who's content,
thanks for the time and space to let this go,
tomorrows a new day and thats great to know.
