Bad Cold

BAD COLD

sniff
eyes close
swallow hard
wet misery
like under water
body all hot and numb
torpid   yes    but so relaxed
now come all these home remedies
everyone has a favorite
noodle soup of course    i would rather drown

We'd always been fed soup, Daver.=/ Ginger ale and hot toddies. The toddies lemon, honey, but laced with Dekyper gin...yuck!! Sounds like you'll have an armful, with all those cats.:) We only have a small dog...a mini doberman that had had her vocal cords messed up. I call her the dog from Oz (nope, not Toto:) As brave as the lion? But when she barks sounds like a munchkin. We're her third owners..love her, Daver! Some soup mail coming your way! Best wishes! I was playing in Aspen one summer. We took our long hair Dachshunt out for a walk and a doberman thought Skipper was something to eat. Skipper survived after a stitch or two. I'm sure your mini is not like that viscious mutt LOve, dave
