And the good simply ignored, Is this the goodness of life or an oversight or mistake? Why can’t good thing happen to good people? And bad things happen to bad people? Who can understand this unjust system? Where are the breaks in live I’ve been looking for? Where are the things in life I’ve prayed and believed for? Where are the good things that I need? Can this trickery of life be an illusion? Is there yet hope for the hopeless? Yes or No, No or Yes? Perplexed, Is there any hope at all? Easily, When why? Life is not fair, Who said it was? Your mom and dad, As if they could really help, They want you to grow up to be good, And see only the best for you, Hardships are in the thousands, And depressions in the hundreds, Failure, failure, That all I see and know, Why?
