Backyard Reminiscing

Dried leaves scattered
The wind and the birds
Are the sounds you hear
And your mind travel back

As you sit
You recall
The fun times
You have gone through

The tree climbing
The wrestling fight
With the boys
And the star gazing

The nights you sat
In the same place
When you cried and sob
As you write to forget

The wind blows your face
As your eyes close
And you hope
To go back in time
