Backwards

You ever wonder why people put their thoughts down on paper?
Is it some sick twisted way of reminding themselves of all the woes of the past?
Gotta wonder about these sorts of things.
Like of all the minds in the world is mine the safest place to be?
Instead what would happen if the seas crumbled and the mountains dried up?
What if fire put out water and ice melted the sun?
Then what?
So suddenly what you thought was a beautiful melody playing in your head was in fact a
group of alley cats screaching on a fence in the middle of the night.
I guess that's what you get for thinking.

I used to think that being lazy was bad so I just gave up thinking. Nice topic that you have chosen to write about on this cold winter day. Keep the creative pen flowing. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work. Sara
