Background Noise

How intriguing are the life’s of others
One can’t help but look in, passing a window
For in that window are people
People ,safe and carefree
In their space,
with their eyes and expressions out of place

How interesting is it to listen when others talk
I think I will take a walk
And listen to the pigeon hawk
No matter how politely done
One can’t help but look into an open window
It’s the human interest of some

So very clever and so very true. Human curiosity at its best. Well done. Regards Heidie

Laura - People and their stories have always fascinated me - One thing about Prison is you sure get to know a melting pot of people - What always got to me is the fact that I was about the only guilty one there - Great poem Laura - God Bless

I would always wonder, even as a child, driving or walking by homes, taking peeks into windows and just becoming curious and imaginative. It does seem to be something we cannot help but do! Does that make us nosy?? ~lol~ Probably. Love, Shar

I think we're all guilty of this. No matter how hard we try...we seem to have this need to listen in. Great job with this. My best to you, Charlie

Interesting take on the human need of voyeurism . . . I am quite guilty of this, although I try not to stare, just a quick peek and eyes averted . . . Uh, unless there is a striking female in the frame of that window . . . My eyes want to linger . . . good, fun, entertaining and educational piece of work . . .
