Back With Her

Back
to where
I once was
long, long ago
Simpler times? I don’t know. That’s where I’ll go

In a past life I lived. Who was I then?
My soul now shares
history
with that
life

Shades 
of her
live within
my body now
Coincidences and déjà vu roam

Through my open heart and mind she finds peace
in traveling
dimensions
beyond 
death

Scared?
not so
She is part
of who I am
and will forever be until I leave

Then together we’ll go away from here
connected hearts
hand in hand
Always
one
