Sandra Adams Poet Free verse

Back To You

i traipse along
these crystal sands
collecting memories
like shells, unbroken

a windy mist
of ocean's kiss
the sighs
of  jaded palms
timeless shadows
of faded footsteps
leading back to you

my thoughts
fall silent
beneath the whispers
of endless waves 

my mind
unclouded
blushes
in folds
of day

my smile
agleam
in its wake

...all leading
back to you
