i traipse along these crystal sands collecting memories like shells, unbroken a windy mist of ocean's kiss the sighs of jaded palms timeless shadows of faded footsteps leading back to you my thoughts fall silent beneath the whispers of endless waves my mind unclouded blushes in folds of day my smile agleam in its wake ...all leading back to you

What a wonderful poetic journey back to someone who lived and still lives in your heart. I could feel this and see it as if I were there waiting at the end of those footsteps.

Just loved it from start to finish--enjoyed the revival of timeless shadows of faded footsteps..clever how you wrapped the ending lines into the main theme..a brilliant write, Sandy..I am saving as my FAVE.

thank you, i wasn't sure if i was happy with it...i penned one the other day, left it up a couple hours and then deleted it...i do that sometimes too...my muse just seems to mesh sad ones together better... :) hugs
