Back To Semptember

I woke up at three
to write you a letter
you will never read

Questioning the distance
in your eyes
or how I couldn't tell the
truth from lies

The endless nights of no sleep
holding everything in as if it
was something to keep

If I had the choice to go back
or remember
I'd say no and go
back to September
