Back To School Daze

Back to School Daze Wary eyes peer over the masks hands twitch in halted greetings the bus will arrive at 6:45 AM no seats will be “saved” “The Wheels on the Bus” not sung about no kisses blown to parents no cookies shared at recess hand sanitizer will be shared lunch - eaten in six foot seclusion The Pledge of Allegiance” (if recited) muffled through masked lips the teacher will wear TWO masks a “virtue signaling” statement the bus will leave at 3:10 PM parents will ask: “what did you learn at school today” Children will answer: “NOTHING”….. I don't bend my knee to any of this BS, Obama and Pelisi have huge unmasked parties, and Givernor No Brains in CA. Kids in masks? Why not burn them on crosses. Adults bought the fear. Shame on them. Love the Aussies who are fighting back, Pangie. Grandson in private school. Much more freedom. Nobody died. Big crock to keep control of all...disgusting, There's a ghost in my closet, too. Booooooo!

Nine times out of ten, they will. Then, there is always that eager child who is excited about what they learned and wants to share it. Enjoyed the poem, John.
